Introduction to English Section of the Blog

      Dear Friends of M. Mª Antonia:

  Having reached the important number of seventy thousand visits to M. Mª Antonia’s Blog, and realizing that many of these visitors come from English-speaking countries, we start today a new section in order to make it easier for them to know Mother Mª Antonia –you may click on Biographical Sketch- It is great to know that news about Mother’s life spread around the world, and we hope that this will be for God’s greater glory and praise.

      Such was Mother Mª Antonia’s ardent desire, that her life and deeds should all be directed to this end, as she herself often says in her writings:  “I suffered a new martyrdom with the desire for God’s glory” (Autob. 2,1)

     We pray that everyone who approaches Mother María Antonia will find a help in his or her way to God, both through her example and her intercession. And we shall be so glad to hear of you, telling us how she helped you!

       Here is the official prayer for her beatification:

Oh God, strength of the weak and glory of the humble,

 your servant M. M.ª Antonia served You with heroic virtues

 and an ardent desire for your glory,

 even at the cost of the greatest toils and humiliations,

 deign to exalt her with the glory of the saints

 and grant us the graces we ask through her intercession,

 for your glory and that of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,

 who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
